GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL FAIR
SEPTEMBER 24, 2007 - WASHINGTON D.C.
SEPTEMBER 26, 2007 - NEW YORK
OCTOBER 2, 2007 - CHICAGO

ThinkSwiss representatives attended three major graduate and professional school fairs in Washington, D.C., New York and Chicago. In the course of these events, which attracted approximately 5,000 prospective master and doctoral students, OSTHE was able to speak with about 250 students about higher education opportunities in Switzerland. The main tool was the brochure “Campus and Research Park Switzerland,” which gives a good overview of the Swiss higher education system and possibilities for students and researchers. In brief, the message to interested U.S. students was: studying in Switzerland means world-class education for a fraction of the tuition fee needed to attend American universities. Since the number of master’s programs taught in English is ever-increasing, Swiss universities are becoming a valuable alternative for talented and ambitious U.S students.
