As part of the U.S. wide program ThinkSwiss The Consulate Generals of Switzerland in the U.S. are pleased to announce their upcoming
STUDENT POSTER CONTEST ON THE OCCASION OF LEONHARD EULER'S 300TH ANNIVERSARY
THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONTEST IS TO INCREASE AWARENESS
AND INTEREST IN THE GREAT SWISS MATHEMATICIAN AND SCIENTIST LEONHARD EULER AND REFLECT ON HIS LIFE AND HIS WORKS IN THEIR HISTORICAL CONTEXT. A GRAND PRIZE AND TWO RUNNER-UPS WILL BE CHOSEN. THE WINNER OF THE FIRST PRIZE WILL RECEIVE AN IPOD.
Submission Guidelines and Deadlines:

Poster should address Euler’s life or his works in their historical context

For the drawing, send your BFI 8.5 x 11’’ of 72 dpi to the email address below.

The winners of the poster contest will be presented on the ThinkSwiss website in May 2007.

Please include: your name, the poster’s title, your institution, supervising instructor if applicable,
and email and permanent postal address.
