Experts from Switzerland, Europe and the US discussed the media/politics nexus inside election campaigns during the very lively and interactive public roundtable "How Do News Media Impact Elections?”. Thanks to the timely subject, the discussion focused on the current US election campaign. The more private 2-day workshop-like conference "Different Democracies, Same Media Power?" allowed scholars from Switzerland, Europe and the US to present and discuss their research and findings and to actively network and launch future joint projects.
