WHAT:
These event take place as part of a Sustainable Transportation Road Show launched by the Consulates General of Switzerland in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Inspired by Switzerland's sustainable transportation exhibit On Track to the Future — Sustainable Transportation a Challenge for the 21st Century, the series travels up and down the West Coast, asking how Swiss transportation solutions can inform the unique and dynamic transit landscape of the American West.
Event speakers will include Prof. Elizabeth Deakin of UC Berkeley; WIRED Magazine's Rachel Swaby; Andy Thornley of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition; senior staff of the San Francisco, Los Angeles, Davis, and Sacramento Municipal Transit Authorities; Profs. Susan Handy, Pat Mokhtarian, Geoff Straw of UC Davis; Gregor Saladin, Swiss Federal Office of Transport; Profs. Scott Rutherford and Marc Eberhard of the University of Washington; and others.

WHO:
Partnering with the Swiss Federal Office of Transportation, swissnex San Francisco, the Exploratorium, the Institute for Transporation Studies at UC Davis, the University of Washington, and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Road Show is a project of "ThinkSwiss - Brainstorm the Future."
