They showed the opportunities offered by Swiss Talents, a worldwide network of highly skilled professional living abroad, who are Swiss or have strong ties to Switzerland (www.swisstalents.org), and its European counterpart ERA-Link, a networking tool for European researchers in the US.
Charlotte Jourdain, Deputy Director of swissnex San Francisco introduced Switzerland as a knowledge-based country and presented the display of brochures on Swiss ERI.
Laurent Bochereau, Head of Science, Technology and Education, Delegation of the European Commission to the US, provided information about research in Europe, European research policy, opportunities for research funding, for international collaboration and for transnational mobility.
